The rise in female UHNWIs

  • International Women's Day, celebrated annually on the 8th of March, is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

  • Women make up around 11% of the world's Ultra-High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), defined as those with a net worth of $30m or more. This has grown significantly from 6% in 2016.

  • 81% of female Gen Z UHNWIs are expecting their wealth to increase in 2024, suggesting the rise in female UHNWIs is set to continue. Property is one of the key asset classes for UHNWIs, and more than a fifth of global UHNWIs are planning a purchase in 2024.
